About The Wellness Guild

What we do

The Wellness Guild is a hybrid massage therapy platform and searchable multi-provider directory. It connects clients with licensed, independently owned massage therapy and wellness practices in their area — and gives those practitioners the tools to run and grow a modern practice. Clients can browse provider profiles, compare specialties and availability, complete secure health intake forms, and book appointments online, whether at a studio or in their own home.

For providers, the Guild handles the technology: scheduling and availability templates, booking management, private client intake pipelines, subscription billing, and compliance support — so therapists can focus on their craft instead of admin work.

Who the Guild is for

The platform serves two communities. For clients, it is a trusted place to find vetted, licensed massage therapists and local spas nearby, with transparent profiles, real availability, and a private, consent-driven intake process. For professionals, it is built for independent massage therapists, local spa owners, and wellness practices of every size — especially practitioners between jobs or building their own book of business. Beyond bookings, the Guild is a community: mentorship content, peer networking, and local wellness events help independent providers thrive together.

Who builds it

The Wellness Guild is built and maintained by the Guild's own team, working closely with the licensed practitioners who use it. Every feature — from scheduling rules to payment handling to privacy controls — is shaped by feedback from real providers and the clients they serve. The Guild maintains the technology and the community; each independent provider remains the owner of their practice, their client relationships, and their standard of care.

How we verify

Before a listing appears in the directory, the provider submits their state massage therapy license, their government-issued identification, and any additional certifications they want shown. Our team checks the license against the state board that issued it — confirming the number, the status, and the expiration date — and matches the name on the license to the person applying. A listing does not go live until that review is complete, and no provider can pay to skip it.

Verification does not end at approval. Licenses are monitored for expiry, providers are asked to upload renewed documents before a lapse, and a listing whose license is expired or unverifiable is hidden from clients until it is resolved. Identity verification, multi-state licensure, and standing in the community are shown on a provider's profile as badges, because those are the things that differ from one practitioner to the next — being licensed and reviewed is true of everyone you will find here.
